Appellation Marlborough Wine

Appellation Marlborough Wine

Appellation Marlborough Wine came to us with a challenge — they needed a campaign to help tell the story of the appellation mark itself, and highlight the origin, provenance, integrity and quality of Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs carrying the mark. Our answer was to the mark itself as a physical portal, peeling away to reveal the amazing properties behind AMW-certified wines. This powerful device was married with bold, informative headlines and housed on a unique visual world inspired by the skies of Marlborough.

Marlborough has a world-class reputation as a peerless wine country for good reason, producing some of the best wines anywhere, the world over (we think they are the single best… although we might be a bit biased there).

The AMW mark — the first-ever appellation mark awarded to a ‘New World’ wine — was the product of several years of hard work by some of Marlborough’s finest winegrowers, producers and experts. It was an honour and a privilege to work with an organisation dedicated to upholding and extolling the reputation of one of New Zealand’s undoubted national treasures, the Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
