AGDA Awards 2021

With over 1850 entries and 66 jurors, we are proud to share that Strategy Christchurch has been named as finalists in 5 categories in the 2021 Australian Graphic Design Association Awards (AGDA).

Open category

Optimal Workshops: Engine for Empathy – Illustration and writing craft.
Nominated in both the illustration & writing craft categories, the document was centred around the theme of ‘Engine for Empathy,’ a term that is familiar to the UX industry. This theme was not only used as the central graphical device which is deconstructed throughout the document, but is also an expression and extension of Optimal Workshop’s tone of voice and brand.

Student category
Connect the Spots — Student digital, app & publication.
Massive congratulations to our Project Co-ordinator Holly Mcleish for her honours project ‘Connect the Spots’ which has been named as a finalist across three categories (student app, digital & publication) and gained a Merit for Student App. Connect the Spots is a multi-faceted system which is designed to de-stigmatise acne through tools which both educate and foster a sense of community; ultimately helping to empower acne sufferers to embrace the skin they’re in.
