Redefining a library

Recently, Massey University embarked on a significant architectural redevelopment of its Wellington campus.

We were briefed to redefine Massey's library through powerful environmental graphics and intuitive wayfinding that enhanced the story of the architecture. Working closely with Nick Kapica, Athfield Architects and key library staff, we developed a clear narrative of reinventing, rethinking and redefining what a library is in the context of today. Expressed through three-metre high wall graphics and a minimal, flexible wayfinding system, we helped reinvigorate the library as the hub of the Wellington campus.
